Overview:Tennessee Crown team in Memphis Tn is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. Under general direction, this position will plan, coordinate, control and manage daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for directing & assisting in the receiving, order pulling, and loading in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Responsible for proper inventory maintenance and replenishment.
- Responsible for directing and assisting employees in keeping the warehouse organized & clean.
- Assist in opening and/or closing the facility as needed.
- Assist in the delivery of the product as needed.
- Assist with the monthly warehouse inventory.
- Assist with Driver Check in and Returns Process daily.
- Responsible for accurately recording warehouse breakage/spoilage & subsequent adjustments.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse and delivery departments.
- Must be able to do all aspects of Cycle Counts and product tracking.
- Help train new employees on the proper techniques and procedures.
- Supervisors will be required to operate various forklifts and learn the entire operation as well as cross train in other areas as needed.
- Repetitive heavy lifting will be required.
- Ensure case mis-picks, overages, and shortages are kept to a minimum.
- Ensure that the conveyer is being ran at max productivity. (Loader delay etc.)
- Communicate well with management and co-workers in order to shift manpower to needed areas.
- Review production daily with management and discuss any issues.
- Use all available technology to achieve the best results.
Qualifications:
- Must be atleast 21 years of age.
- Previous warehouse expierience preferred.
- 1 years’s supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver license with a class F endorsement.
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid DOT medical card.
- Must be knowledgeable of DOT and OSHA regulations and laws.
- Previous delivery experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to communicate with people effectively.
- Must have basic mathematical skills and be able to operate a calculator.
- Computer proficiency to include but not limited to: Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be able to pass background checks. (i.e., reference checks, police backgrounds, etc.)

- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
- Cannot have more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Cannot have DUI, Reckless Driving, or Hit-and-Run in the last 5 years.
