Inside the Role
This position involves leading a dynamic team of warranty professionals. Work includes but is not limited to - processing warranty claims, vendor recovery, network training and resolving warranty issues by collaborating with internal and Network Partners (over 900 locations worldwide that includes all DTNA brands). Applying analytical tools to evaluate warranty performance for internal department and network partners that promote Customer Up Time and Ease of Doing Business.

Position offers a starting salary range of $90,000 - $115,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Develop, coach, provide positive opportunities and mentor teammates.
- Evaluate warranty procedures and provide guidance in the development of system enhancements that improve warranty administration efficiency.
- Develop and apply analytical tools that evaluate team and evaluate Network warranty performance (validity, accuracy, costs).
- Develop continuous improvement initiatives that support the network (Dealers/Distributors/Fleets) in regards to warranty administration and processing policies/procedures.
- Develop / Facilitate warranty training.
- Resolve warranty issues with corporate, field personnel and the network.
- Manage assigned claims; ticket and recovery backlogs to ensure all claims/tickets are processed in a timely manner and according to the Warranty Manual and supplier agreements.
- Lead a team in failure analysis through the examination and testing of failed Chassis, Detroit engine, transmission, axle and after treatment system components.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Technology or related technical area or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software applications as well as demonstrated ability to learn systems and query languages as necessary (WebFocus, Tableau, etc…).
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
- Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical area
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Process strong analytical skills along with being cost and performance oriented.
- Working knowledge of vehicle components, suppliers and DTNA systems/applications.
- DTNA Cab/Chassis and Detroit Engine, Automatic Transmission, Steer/Drive Axle and After treatment Systems product knowledge.
- Knowledge of Daimler Trucks North America, Detroit Powertrain inter-department and Service Network.
- Tableau and WebFocus knowledge preferred
