Crown Hyundai is hiring an experienced Warranty Administrator for its busy service department in St. Petersburg, FL!
Experience as an Automotive Warranty Administrator or Medical Billing Specialist is a plus!
This position is responsible for:
Preparing and processing warranty claims in a timely manner for each franchise or distributor.- Reviews all warranty paperwork to ensure required documentation is provided for all claims.
- Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor and alerts service manager when criteria is not being met.
- Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off
- Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Posts credits to warranty schedules as they are received from the manufacurer.
- Follows up on payment of outstanding claims and provides status to service manager.
- Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor when requested, or to be scrapped.
- Files (scans) and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
- Stays informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
- Assists with body shop warranty claims as needed.
- Maintains 100% compliance with manufacturer's warranty polices and procedures.
The position reports to and works closely with the Service Manager to keep him informed of warranty claims processing and receivables status. The warranty administrator also works with service advisors, technicians, parts department, and factory personnel to ensure 100% compliance with manufacturer's warranty policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Requirements include:
- Up to one year experience as an automotive dealer warranty administrator preferred
- Math skills
- Writing skills
- Interpersonal communication skills and customer service skills
- Current driver's license
- Abililty to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- High school diploma
