Warranty Operations Manager Position Purpose

  • Communicates and supports the Company’s mission, vision, and core values.
  • Manage Corporate/Branch Warranty Claim Logs
  • Review rejected claims and work with branch personnel to prepare for re-file.
  • Conduct warranty training for branch personnel, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of warranty criteria.
  • Ensure updated warranty information is distributed throughout the organization and provide follow-up to confirm understanding.
  • Review the warranty terms database for all KSMI suppliers who offer warranties.
  • Manage administrative team and all warranty claims in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the management of all Field Campaigns (FCs), Safety Bulletins, and Product Updates for all brands company-wide.
  • Review new product warranty policies and provide guidance on contract terms.
  • Manage parts and reman parts claims for OTC tickets and issue credits accordingly.
  • Manage customer policy requests when units and/or parts are out of warranty range.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Training department to review trends and training opportunities.
  • Travel at least 30%.

Warranty Operations Manager Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Windows and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, altering priorities as required to meet established deadlines and follow through.
  • Ability to effectively implement existing and new policies and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complicated and diverse warranty programs and procedures.

Warranty Operations Manager Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for long periods in the office or driving.
  • May work outside exposed to heat, cold, noise, fumes/odors, and dirt/dust.
