Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Welders to hire immediately at a manufacturing warehouse located in Acworth! This company specializes in making conveyor systems for airports. The ideal candidate should be dependable, have relevant previous experience, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Requirements for Welders:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Must have at least one year of experience with welding.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Welders:

• Set up and adjust welding equipment and systems using proven welding techniques.
• Assembles parts in fixtures and secure by clamping or bolting into position for welding.
• Selects voltage, amperage, and wire feet setting to product weldments for quality requirements.
• Verifies processes as specified by work orders, blueprints, and drawings.
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Inspects, measures, or tests completed metal work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details: 1st Shift Available!

• 1st: Monday-Friday – 6:00AM-2:30PM
