Summary Wellness Sales Coordinator:
The Wellness Sales Coordinator offers friendly, courteous, and confidential assistance to every patient in order to ensure a positive experience. Must possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills. The Wellness Sales Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of ensuring wellness and/or office procedures run smoothly as well as educating patients and closing all wellness sales.
Responsibilities and Duties of WellnessSales Coordinator:
Generate quotes and discuss wellness costs with patients at consultation and facilitate a commitment to proceed
Discuss payment and financing options with patients
Routine follow up with potential patients as appropriate with the intent of increasing patient conversion
Schedule consultations and follow up appointments efficiently, working with office staff, physician assistant, patients, and wellness center staff
Follow up with patients during their decision-making process and after their consultation in a methodical and consistent manner
Maintain charting with all patient contacts and outcomes
Maintain physician assistants daily schedule including appointments as well as travel and meetings
Orders and verifies needed items are delivered prior to wellness appointments
Supervises patient flow
Assists in development and implementation of social media presence for provider
Maintains and updates the patient marketing materials, outlining information about the wellness center
Monitors results of patient satisfaction to generate reviews, referrals, and increase retention
Qualifications / Skills:
Minimum of three years work experience, with increased responsibility, in a health and wellness practice, customer service, hospitality, or travel industry
Experience in marketing or sales
Experience with practice management software and word processing applications
Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
Understanding of efficiency, automation, and patient flow in a medical practice
A “can-do” attitude, showing initiative and willingness to adapt to change
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Neat, professional appearance
Able to understand patient concerns and handle them appropriately
Able to comfortably discuss financial arrangements with patients
Proven ability to handle upscale clientele and maintain high standards in patient care and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Sales experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
