As a Windchill Administrator, using Thingworx, you will be responsible for developing, supporting, monitoring, tuning and the administration of applications within the organization. You may also participate in analysis and design activities, usually in conjunction with a Business Analyst, Programmer Analyst or other individuals to complete the assignment. The individual will work to ensure application architecture, security, and scalability requirements are met, and the developed solutions conform to the quality standards and procedures. You will be expected to demonstrate creative thinking and decision-making characteristics throughout daily interactions with others.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Work closely with customers (internal and external to IS) to develop requested solutions utilizing efficient and supportable development methodologies.
• Proactively support existing systems and applications, provide problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Ensure developed code meets Manitowoc standards, is supportable and if necessary scalable.
• Champion, design, document, monitor and enforce development standards, policies, procedures, templates and best practices for project implementation and maintenance activities to ensure consistency in the development landscape.
• Meet or exceed the Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Design, manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the activities related to development projects and maintenance activities. Report key performance indicators for the development team to management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems or Management of Information Systems preferred.
• Three or more years’ experience with projects in both waterfall and agile development processes a strong plus.
• Experience from a manufacturing background a strong plus.
• Ability to effectively manage project scope, project risk and issues with appropriate escalation plans.
• Demonstrates appropriate communication styles and approaches for success in a global organization structure.
• Ability to model and document business systems.
• Proven experience with integration and non-regression testing processes.
• Fluent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills in English language.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and the execution of application related controls is strongly desired.
• Knowledge and understanding of web application architecture is required.
• Java Specific
  • Hands-on experience in Java development with SQL Database in a client/server environment is required with the following:
    • Java
    • Java Script
    • SQL Server/ORACLE

• PTC Specific Applications

• Experience in PTC Thingworx administration and development a plus.
• Experience in PTC Windchill administration and development a plus.

• Must be able to travel up to 5%
