Job description

We are looking for bright candidates to be our wine bar attendant during our Lavender Festival, with the potential to grow and continue with the growing Wine Bar that will continue throughout our many festivals. We'd like to meet someone who has rudimentary knowledge of wine and can help serve and talk about wine.

Qualifications

- Must have excellent customer service skills and

- Ability to connect with different people and be able to talk about the farm and the winery's story

- Must be enthusiastic

- Professionalism and adaptability with each guest is needed

- Wine experience in either a winery or wine bar is a bonus!

- Must be 21 or older

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Provide excellent customer service to all guests

- Engage with customers and be able to talk about wine, different types of wine, etc. and give samples

- Provide light food and beverage service to customers

- Proactively make effort to "close" a sale when talking to customers about wine sales (by the glass or bottle)

- Keep wine bar room tidy and clean, following proper procedures for opening and closing operations

- Maintain a knowledge of the farm and winery background along with all the wines at the wine bar

- Keep tables and chairs clean throughout the shift in between sales and interactions with customers

- Strictly check identification for minimum age restriction for consumption of alcohol

- Assist customers in merchandise purchasing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift

• Cherry Valley, CA 92223: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
