We are seeking experienced a Woodshop Lead to join our team in Claymont, Delaware!

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Range: Dependent on experience.

Wood Shop Lead Requirements:

• Experience in working in a wood shop
• Scraping wood
• Glaze Putting
• Be able to use proper techniques with wood shop equipment.
• Must be able to read tape measure
• Must be able to use basic math
• Quality conscious and detail-oriented
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent

Wood Shop Lead Responsibilities:

• Cutting and Customizing wood windows and doors
• Use table saws, routers, shapers, planers, jointers, basic power and hand tools to create custom windows and doors
• Communicate with the production supervisor in a timely manner
• Install or replace windows in residential and commercial buildings
• Take measurements
• Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment
• Follows company policies, procedures, and safety standards in a timely manner
• Working with Human Resource on counseling, coaching, hiring, and termination
• Other related duties as assigned by management
