MVS Wound Care and Hyperbarics is Baltimore’s largest privately-owned wound care and hyperbaric medical practice with locations in Towson, Rosedale, Glen Burnie, Cockeysville, Abingdon, Westminster and Pikesville. We are seeking a qualified, energetic, and organized professional to perform patient care during the wound healing process . This candidate will need to have strong computer skills, communication, and ability to multi-task. The candidate must be willing to travel to our different office locations. Duties and responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrates knowledge and skill to develop and implement policies and procedures to manage patients with draining wounds, wound prevention, wound care, and incontinence care.
• Performs wound assessment, reassessment, and management for all patients.
• Complies with office rules, guidelines, and protocols.
• Complies with HIPAA and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Responsible for infection control. Knowing the location and use of PPE.
• Attends scheduled employee staff meetings.
• Demonstrates flexibility in carrying out an array of responsibilities that contribute to the improvement of quality patient care and safety.
• Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints and refers patient complaints to appropriate personnel.
• Performs all duties in support of successful EMR/EHR documentation implementation.
• Maintains positive attitude while working both independently and as a team member.
• Maintains patient waiting areas, and exam rooms in a manner that is organized and clean.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Education/Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Maryland licensure as a Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Certificates and Licenses

• Driver’s License
• CPR/BLS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Maryland licensure as a Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse.
