Kendal Floral Supply is currently looking for a temporary (5/1 – 5/14) experienced yard driver. Hostlers are responsible for safely transporting trailers to and from the docks and to the yard. The schedule is every day from 2 pm to 10:30 p.m.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for configuring yard arrangement and vehicle configuration for timely service pull-out.
• Safely & securely positions tractors, trailers, or straight trucks in assigned docks & bays as required in a timely manner
• Promotes & maintains a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented & customer-focused attitude with co-workers & other departments
• Performs visual inspection of vehicles & trailers when moving them in the yard. Promptly reports any damage, safety concerns, &/or repairs to the Driver Manager as soon as possible
• Abides by all OSHA rules, DOT regulations and Kendal Floral safety practices
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Provides save movement of all trailers and/or containers at assigned location.

Be knowledgeable of and follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Valid Class A License

Clean DMV print out

Pre-employment drug test - Paid by the company.

At least 3 years class A driving experience

Some Hostling experience helpful.
