Position summary:
The Zaxby’s Assistant General Manager provides excellent leadership and motivation to ensure that all team members are guest-focused, team-focused, and quality-focused. The Assistant General Manager will set the tone for this mission to be lived out each day. He or she will exercise knowledge of restaurant operations, manage staff resources, provide counsel, develop and coach staff and ensure adherence to our operating standards. He or she will be instrumental in building and maintaining a healthy culture, where people thrive and grow in a positive workplace environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing 7-11 crew members per shift
- Preparing employee schedules
- Working to ensure labor & drive time goals are met and maintained
- Conducting inventory counts daily/weekly
- Training/developing new and exisiting team members
- Communicating with GM to develop and implement new policies and procedures
- Working with raw poultry
- Responsible for setting a positive atmosphere, creating a culture where people want to participate and develop together in a healthy structure.
- Ensuring the daily execution of the Zaxby’s Mission Statement and Core Values.
- Minimum of 45 hours a week.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience in a quick service or fast-casual dining environment.
- Must have open availability to work 45 hours a week, including nights and weekends
- Must have experience with or general knowledge of: inventory purchasing, inventory counting, schedule making, using a POS system, Reading/understanding KPI metrics, and staff recruitment/training.
- Completion of a high school education or equivalent.
- Valid Class C license.
- 5 panel drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
