Title: 1st year Commis Chef
Responsible to: Head Chef/Store Management
Main Purpose of the job: To ensure the Food Production area operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our customers with excellent products.
We are currently recruiting for a 1st year Commis Chef for the food production in our
Kitchen in store. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a great team and to further your career through our education training programme.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a strong desire to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Passionate about food
- Be innovative and motivated to succeed
- Have an eye for detail and food presentation
- Work well as part of a team and ensure standards are kept high
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Food preparation in line with HACCP and Health and Safety Procedures
Preparation and cooking of food
- Food temperature recording
- Storing and labelling of food
- Rotation of food
- Maintenance of restaurant and kitchen duties
- Work in a fast paced environment
- General cleaning tasks
- Excellent customer service
Salary D.O.E.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €10.90-€13.65 per hour

- 8 hour shift
