Joining Sarasota County's 311 team means you'll be working in a fast-paced, high-volume position that responds to inquiries for all 17 departments of the Sarasota County government. Job Description:

Determine what type of service is being requested and respond to citizen requests.

Furnish callers with service request tracking numbers and work orders for follow-up inquiries.

Receive telephone calls from the general public and county employees for the purpose of obtaining County services or information.

Advise callers of the projected service, time completion, and status of their requests.

Document caller information and the nature of the request and enter it into a work/asset management system.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
About You
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
One year of experience in a clerical or customer service environment.
About Everything Else
Starting Pay Range: $15.45 - $16.08, depending on experience
Position Salary Range: $15.45 - $22.19
