Job Summary

The JCTC Office of Dual Credit has an opening for two (2) Academic Program Facilitators working with general education and career and technical education.

Job Duties:

Primary responsibility includes the complete enrollment cycle for general and technical education classes. The enrollment cycle consists of but is not limited to credential review of instructors, completing instructor academic files, participating in instructor professional development, building courses, student advising, student enrollment, assigning KHEAA Work Ready scholarships and ensuring final grades are posted. Duties may include working with specific dual credit programs such as Accelerate to College, UPS School to Work, Rotary Bridge, Bullitt Advanced Math and Science and others. Additional responsibilities include facilitating relationships between the college and secondary education institutions that offer dual credit classes; developing aligned CTE pathways; coordinating efforts and communication with public school systems about Dual Credit courses; participation in the matriculation plan for transition into full-college enrollment. This is a team-led, high-functioning, student-focused environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and one-year related experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference extended to candidates with strong computer literacy, presentation, and time-management skills. Internal candidates with experience in advising or recruitment are encouraged to apply. This position requires the ability to work supportively in a culturally diverse environment of students, faculty, staff, and the community. Candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with multi-lingual learners and historically under-served students and/or communities through teaching, mentoring, or administration are especially encouraged to apply.
