We are currently recruiting for the position of Accommodation Supervisor.

The Slieve Russell Hotel is Located in Co. Cavan, just 90 minutes from Dublin and provides luxury award winning 4* hotel accommodation.

The Hotel is set on 300 acres of land, including 50 acres of lakes, an 18 hole championship golf course, a par 3 Academy Golf Course, a superb leisure centre, a state of the art conference centre and an award winning luxury Spa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To deliver on and follow the hotel Mission, Vision & Values.
• To ensure that all service provided by you is in accordance with your department procedure.
• Ensure that all Employees in the Department are allocated their daily duties and ensure that all allocated duties are completed to the required standard.
• Ensure all employees are trained to their full potential and training recorded for all training.
• Identify and act on any further training requirements within the department and work with the Department Manager to ensure training is identified and training needs are delivered.
• Check employee’s work to ensure that all standards of operation adhered to in the department.
• Review Accommodation Employee’s performance and where necessary provide further Coaching or Training.
• Be accountable for any specific area of responsibility as set by the Accommodation Manager.
• Take responsibility for the daily running of the department in the absence of the Manager.
• Be responsible for the economic and correct use of linen and the running of the Laundry Department within the hotel.
• Liaise with Reception regarding VIP and general guest requirements/room allocation and status, on a daily basis.
• To ensure you follow the correct procedure in regards to lost property of the hotel Guests.
• Ensure that all patrons are satisfied with the service provided by your department, in particular VIP guests and those with special needs.
• Ensure all equipment, furniture, fixtures and fittings are maintained to a high standard. And action any Maintenance faults with the Maintenance Department.
• Keep in contact with Reception in regards to the allocation of rooms, to aid with a smooth guest Check-In / Check-out.
• Ensure that the guest information pack and the information channel on the T.V. is correct and up-to-date.
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored correctly and costs are kept in line with budget for cleaning, materials, equipment, guest toiletries, sundries, etc.
• Ensure that employee’s wear the correct uniform, with their name badge, and maintain a high standard of personal presentation and punctuality.
• Ensure that fire routes and storage areas are kept clean, tidy and hazard free.
• Carry out any reasonable request by the management or guests in the hotel.
