Accounts Payable Administrator
Grant Thornton has experienced significant growth in recent years. We have an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our internal Finance team as an Accounts Payable administrator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to grow and develop their skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
The Finance team provide support to the Partners and management across our eight offices. The individual will be part of a small close knit team who have been hugely successful in transforming the Grant Thornton finance function. The role will suit someone with previous experience in a busy Accounts Payable environment with multiple company and currencies
Hybrid working is available.
Key tasks include:
- Managing Accounts Payable inbox
- Inputting Purchase invoices in purchase ledger system
- Reviewing coding of invoices
- Reviewing expense claims from staff and Partners
- Inputting credit card return on accounts system
- Analyse of costs and ad hoc reports
- Assist with yearly budgeting process
- Participating in team collaboration and finance transformation projects
Key skills:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role within a large company
- Ability to work in fast paced environment managing multiple tasks and timelines
- Can demonstrate problem solving skills and ability to work on their own initiative
- Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work / collaborate with team
- Positive energy and attitude with desire to drive change
