Overview:
The Accounts Payable Clerk process account payables, including maintaining records of amounts owed, verifying invoices, and preparing vouchers for payment.

The Accounts Payable Clerk process account payables, including maintaining records of amounts owed, verifying invoices, and preparing vouchers for payment.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for proper GL and department coding.
- Analyze incoming invoices.
- Match invoices with purchase orders/receiving reports.
- Run cash disbursements.
- Mark invoices for payment.
- Enter invoices into computer, process and run vendor checks and maintain files.
- Assist in bank reconciliation.
- Prepare various reports.
- Aid in maintaining postage permits
- Responsible for assuring Billers have invoices to rebill to customers where applicable
- Uploading and Maintaining Various AP Uploads to Dynamics

Qualifications:
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training: High School degree required . Associates degree in Business/Math, preferred.
Business Experience: One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, mark ups and percentages.
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus, but not required
- Team Player, ability to work well with others
- Excellent communication skills
