Position Title: Hybrid - Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $25/hr. - $28/hr.

Location: Pittsburg, PA

A global software development organization is currently hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist, the AP Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle accounts payable process including processing of invoices, month end closing, resolution of vendor/invoice issues etc. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional to join a stable organization offering tons of internal career growth and a very generous benefits package. This position offers hybrid flexibility with the expectation to be in office 2/3 days a week, candidates must be commutable to their office in Pittsburg, PA!

Job Description:

• Entering supplier invoices into Workday
• Setting up supplier profiles
• Taking invoices and assigning them to the correct PO, performing settlement runs.
• Create supplier invoices, applying against open purchase orders, ensuring the coding accuracy of the spend category, business unit, cost center, work-tags and supporting documentation
• Responsible for determining and self-assessing sale tax on supplier invoices
• Reconciliation of past due balance as reported on supplier invoice
• Maintain supplier profile database, creating new supplier profiles and updates to existing suppliers
• Monitor the AP email queue for incoming supplier invoices, AP requests and queries.
• Process payment settlement runs in compliance with the supplier payment
• Maintain the 1099 database for annual reporting
