Capitol Lakes, a beautiful and vibrant Continuing Care Retirement Community located a block off the capitol square in downtown Madison, is currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Activity Coordinator to provide exceptional resident-centered care for our seniors!

Wage Range: $17.00 - $20.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday ; 9:00am - 5:00pm

What you’ll be doing:

You will be responsible for all aspects of therapeutic activity and life enrichment programs in compliance with regulations related to activity programming. You will ensure that each resident’s needs, limitations and preferences are evaluated and provide residents with corresponding activity programming in a holistic manner that supports a person centered care philosophy and a high quality of care.

About you:

• Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in recreation therapy or a related field.
• Working knowledge in gerontology, dementia, physiology and anatomy, and/or recreation therapy.
• Valid CBRF certification is preferred.
• Communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service skills, team building skills and/or leadership skills.
