My Friends Pediatric Day Health Care specializes in working with medically fragile children in a daycare setting. We are looking for a dynamic and qualified Activity Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing the activities for our clients.

• Leading and training staff to insure the program is followed.

• Managing each client's individual developmental goal program.

• Setting up field trips as well as visits to our center by other professionals such as music and pet therapy.

• Planning parties and other functions for the clients.

Job Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, one year of which was full-time in a patient activities program in an health care setting,

OR

• Have experience as an occupational therapist, art therapist, music therapist, or occupational therapy assistant,

OR

• Have satisfactorily completed at least 36 hours of training in a course designed specifically for this position and approved by the Department of Public Health, and shall receive regular consultation from an occupational therapist, occupational therapy assistant or recreation therapist who has at least on year of experience in a health care setting.
