Admissions Officer I (UF Online Recruitment & Outreach)
Job description
The Recruitment & Outreach Center (ROC) staff are responsible for communicating with UF Online prospective students via phone, email, text, and other communication channels. The admissions officer will be expected to have a customer service background, and a deep desire to help others continue their education. Represent the UF Online suite of undergraduate degrees to prospective students, their families, and to other institutional partners. Abide by federal laws, state statues, and institutional policies. This position reports to the Recruitment Manager, UF Online ROC.
Provides student outreach and follow up to prospective UF Online students via phone (inbound/outbound call center)/email/SMS/other communication channels. Manages prospect pipeline effectively to maximize enrollments. Responsible for the administration of university wide policies and procedures within legislative statutes and state regulations regarding enrollment issues. Logs student communication in CRM.
Travels to and participates in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs to encourage student enrollment in UF Online. Occasional in-person presentations required. Interacts with prospective students, state college staff, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Responsible for hosting virtual information sessions to provide details to prospective students and other influencers including parents/legal guardians, guidance counselors, and college academic advisors. Engages with special populations and constituents to assist in student recruitment and other networking opportunities.
Collaborates with campus partners to provide current and accurate information related to UF Online’s academic programs.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Recruitment Manager of the UF Online Recruitment & Outreach Center.
$40,000 annually
Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver's License is required.

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Bilingual.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity and skill managing email and using a CRM.
