Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Perfusionist apply and provide quality circulatory and extracorporeal technology techniques in the operating room. This technology includes but is not limited to: cardiopulmonary bypass; autologous blood recovery/blood conservation; platelet gel; ventricular support; left heart bypass; intra-aortic balloon pumping; cardiopulmonary assist; extra corporeal membrane oxygenation; counter pulsation; myocardial preservation; anticoagulation and hematologic monitoring/analysis; induction of hyper/hypothermia with reversal; hem dilution; hemofiltration; administration of medications, blood components and anesthetic agents via the extracorporeal circuit; organ preservation and surgical assisting. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will serve in the role of educator to various groups regarding services rendered and care for patients requiring cardiovascular perfusion.
• You will be responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining organization and inventory of perfusion supplies.

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Perfusionist must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Bachelors Degree, or Certificate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
