Global multinational logistics company is looking for an experienced Air Exports Coordinator to join their busy team.
Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively with the branch manager and national haulage companies on collections from customers.
- Works effectively with customers on their shipping needs and ensuring all collections, paperwork, and details of shipments are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Cutting export documents and export customs clearance, ensuring to follow up with pre alerts and flight details to the customer and overseas offices
- Communicates clearly and effectively with overseas offices on sales leads, queries, and tracing shipments
- Ensures invoicing is completed and sent to finance to ensure all billing is completed in line with Finance instructions and processes.
- Identify new export lanes from existing customers and communicate these to the Branch Manager.
- Assist the Branch Manager and wider sales team with quotations for new and existing business is up to date with all quality and compliance standards
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to in the Warehouse.
Experience required:
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Air Exports Coordinator.
- Experience in freight/logistics.
- Trained on ACSP preferable.
- Knowledge of customs procedures would be an advantage.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Effective Time Management skills
