Provide program support to FAA modernization initiatives and integration of operational improvements.

Duty Station: Atlantic City, NJ/ Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • In support of Verification and Validation, perform various engineering assignments in areas of design, development, and execution of test; post-test evaluation and analysis; and preparation of documentation
  • Perform analysis of documented user requirements and direct or assist in the design of test plans in support of user requirements
  • Ensure compliance with government, organization, and customer engineering standards
  • Support test verification and validation in support of demonstration and analysis of future system technologies under research & development
  • Interface with technology development lead to ensure planning and execution meet end item deliverable needs and interim checkpoints planned in project plan
  • Participate in all phases of risk management assessment and system development
  • Responsible for ensuring that the test design and documentation support all applicable clients, agency, or industry standards, timelines, and budgets
  • Responsible for ensuring test conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results
  • Provide recommendations for test approaches, measurements, and processes that will provide data to validate underlying technologies and calibrate relevant models
  • Draft documents such as instructions, spreadsheets, presentations, and reports
  • Develop communication and correspondence with stakeholders and internal teams to meet and execute program objectives
  • Support resource management tasks assigned by the client
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and best practices relevant to the industry
Qualifications

Qualified applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Experience in system /software development process lifecycles and tools, including software, system, regression, integration, and operational testing; requirements management; and configuration management tools and processes
  • Experience assessing operational and system performance requirements to prioritize T&E objectives and enable evaluation planning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills effective with operational, technical, and senior management audiences
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with SharePoint/KSN for document repository
  • Ability to satisfy FAA resume approval processes
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences (e.g., mathematics, physics, meteorology, chemistry, etc.), computer science, information systems, information technology, engineering, business, finance, administration, or other related/relevant discipline
Travel
  • Limited travel may be required
