Ensures desktop hardware and software procurement, deployment, control and compliance. Also assist other team members with process understanding. Facilitate inventory and desktop lifecycle management and provides ideas and options for improvements to the processes. Adhere to purchasing system policy and overall AbbVie purchasing requirements. Ensure that the desktop hardware and software asset inventory systems are maintained and accurate.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the PC hardware and software asset system.
• Indirectly supervise the monitoring of incoming work orders to ensure fulfillment in a timely and accurate manner. Monitors and reviews software license and hardware compliance.
• Facilitates adequate stock levels to ensure request fulfillment in a timely manner.
• Performs work using existing standards, methodologies and processes and has an understanding of other systems/business processes relationship to each other.
• Provides and analyzes metrics necessary to support desktop asset functions.
• Maintains productive relationships with peers, IT management, functional business areas and external partners.
• Has basic input to decisions that impact planning and goal setting activities. Generates ideas and develops general approaches to workflow processes. Medium complexity work.
• Errors or failure to achieve expected results may result in the expenditure of more resources than was planned or could have a direct impact on software or hardware compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher OR equivalent 6 years of warehouse experience
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting desktop software and hardware compliance.
• Knowledge of Incident management applications (Service Now, Remedy)
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting desktop software and hardware compliance.
• Advanced knowledge in the use of the entire Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent Customer support skills.
• Knowledge in records keeping, statistical analysis, reporting and desktop asset lifecycle.
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems, application support as well as desktop application licensing and contract management.
• Knowledge and understanding of process flow and desktop inventory system functionality.
