WWC Global is seeking an Analyst for an immediate opening on a Department of Defense contract. The individual will serve in a role supporting the National Guard Integration Office (NGIO) at NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N&NC) Headquarters on Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado. Candidates need a basic understanding of the organizational structure of the Department of Defense and the National Guard (NGB). Candidates should have experience working in or with the Department of Defense (DoD) and be familiar with the roles of the National Guard (NG) under both Title 10 and Title 32.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Research, write, and provide succinct products on complex issues for use by senior leaders and decision makers. Products may be in the form of information papers, background papers, decision papers, and/or briefing slides
  • Prepare products to incorporate information relevant to the issue, that compare and contrast alternative solutions, and which take into consideration the strategic implications of the alternative courses of action
  • Review and analyze policy papers and then identify and explain potential impacts on the (NG)
  • Manage the N&NC/NGIO Unclassified and Classified SharePoint portals, NIPR and SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT), Organizational Mailboxes and the Learning Management System (LMS)

This is a temporary role ending on or about October 2023 with a possibility of extension.

Expected salary range $60,000 - $68,000.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal travel expected.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • 2-5 years professional experience.
  • Experience working in DoD environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Global will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Graduate of Professional Military Education.
  • Familiarity with the AF Task Management Tool (TMT).
  • Availability preferred: ASAP.
