We are now looking for an IT Application Support Analyst
Responsibilities
- work within the IT Applications team to support, maintain and develop all applications across the EirGrid Group, the SEM wholesale Electricity Market platform and all Group-Wide Enterprise solutions.
- assisting with developing tools, processes and procedures that enhance system reliability aligned to the business strategy
- analyse business user requirements, protocols, procedures and problems
- automate or enhance application functionality.
- IT degree or equivalent
- proven applications support experience
- experience working in a complex, challenging environment with critical systems.
- excellent technical skills and knowledge around analysis, testing, design, release and support
- strong analytical and problem solving capability
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- strong technical report writing capability
- ability to work as part of a team
- able to define and guide his/her own work under minimal supervision
