Marathon TS is hiring an Application Systems Analyst for their client at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
-Formulate/define system scope and objectives.
-Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
-Prepare detailed specifications for programs.
-Assist in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of new software and enhancements of existing applications.
-Work with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
-Formulate/define specifications for complex operating software programming applications or modifies/maintains complex existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer.
-Design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.
-Provide overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting, and advanced mathematical/scientific software packages.
-Assist all phases of software systems programming applications.
-Evaluate new and existing software products.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in a business or system analyst role.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
• Experience in researching, analyzing, and designing system applications to meet the needs of an organization and integration with existing and future systems.
• Experience leading software implementation projects in business areas such as Resource Management, Accounting, Document Management, or Enterprise Content Management.
• Experience with one or more case modeling and process mapping toolkits for business process management and system design.
• Experience with Agile software development and participating on scrum teams is desired.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
