Job description
- Build and validate prototype battery packs
- Commission battery charging and test systems in Bedford, MA
- Interface with our UK team and occasionally travel
- Provide necessary technical support to customers based in the USA
- Setup and manage application engineering lab in Bedford, MA
- Write, compile and complete verification and test plans/ reports to documentation standards
- Identify and interact with internal and external suppliers for the component supply and assembly needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years of market experience in designing and maintaining complex electronics systems.
- Technical capacity in terms of designing battery packs, BMS and mechanical components.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and certification
- Ability to program in LabVIEW
- Familiarity with embedded systems programming
- Good understanding of at least one high-level programming language i.e. C#, Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB
- Experience with National Instruments (NI) data acquisition products.
- Experience with CAN and/or Bluetooth
