Security Alliance is actively seeking experienced and professional Armed Security Officers to join our team in Miami, Florida. The Armed Security Officer will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a valid G License. This post will be located at Rebecca Towers in Miami Beach. Please apply if interested. Pay rate: $17/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
• Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Monitor and adjust security systems or equipment
• Respond to emergency situations
• Evict violators from premises
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Must possess a valid G License
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in certain situations
• Ability to remain calm and professional in certain situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
