Must be local or willing to relocate - On Site with 50/50 remote - 1 week in office/ 1 week remote - Either Richmond, VA or Columbia, SC
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced web developer to develop, enhance and maintain web and mobile apps enterprise wide. Mobile app development experience will be a plus.

Job Responsibilities
This position is in Central Mobility Team in information Services and Technology and is responsible for analysis, design, coding, and testing of complex programs to support wide-ranging business solutions. This includes analyzing the business needs of the customers, designing and implementing cost effect solutions to address those needs along with handling the ongoing support of existing systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
- At least 5 years of .NET Development Experience - developing applications

• The successful candidate will have software development experience and knowledge/understanding of IT principles and development practices.
• Development experience using .Net technologies such as C# and MVC framework is required.
• Development experience using technologies such as HTML5, XML, CSS, JavaScript is required.
• Hybrid mobile app development using Cordova and Ionic frameworks is preferred.
• Native iOS or Android mobile app development will be a plus
• Must follow pre-established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with relational database technology and design, SQL (SQL Server 2012) is preferred, as is experienced with Microsoft patterns and practices for web development (MVC, MVVM).
• Ability to coordinate and work with other IT Teams for successful project completion.
• Must be able to work in a professional team environment with limited direct supervision.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• May be required to take part in 24x7 on-call rotation and overtime is sometimes required to meet project deadlines

Education Requirements
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of job-related experience Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in place of preferred level of education: Bachelor, Other Education: Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems

Location = Richmond VA (Downtown – No parking provided) or Cayce SC

Rate = $53-$60/hr

Length = 1+ Year W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $53.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
