Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking an Assembly Associate. This role is responsible for utilizing simple hand and power tools to assemble, manufacture, disassemble, repair, sort, and inspect sterile barriers.
What You Will Do:
Performs assigned manufacturing operations including assembly/disassembly, minor repairs, sorting, cleaning, inspection of infection prevention covers and other medical devices.
Will use a variety of fixtures, simple hand and power tools, and specialized manufacturing equipment.
Will have to follow precise specifications and drawings, work with close tolerances and help the engineering team to resolve root causes of recurrent technical issues in a structured way.
Support in general manufacturing operations tasks.
Position Details:
Location: Eagan, MN
Work week and shift: 1st Shift / 5 days a week / 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (30 min break)
Compensation package offered: $20.00 / hour
Minimum Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in assembly operations
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions, safety rules and maintenance procedures
Ability to perform basic math functions
Problem-solving and communication skills
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
Willingness to learn; comfortable learning and working on projects that may be in unfamiliar areas

Light Work <25LB, Occasionally <35LB
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of plastic film materials, pressure sensitive adhesive components and other medical device materials
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
Experienced with measurement and inspection equipment, calipers, micrometers, timers, temperature measurement, etc.
Experience working within a regulated environment, preferably medical device Class 1 Disposable Medical Device Product Development and/or production
