Peraton is seeking an
Asset Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on the DCCO OBIM program. The Asset Manager is responsible for providing and maintaining a centralized management solution and documentation to track the various OBIM IT hardware and software maintenance, warranty, and software license agreements in accordance with IT asset and configuration management best practices while utilizing existing Government furnished systems management tools.
The Asset Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Deliver a quarterly Maintenance, Warranty, and License Expiration Report.- Track current IT asset inventory levels and report these to the Government monthly.
- Forecast and provide needs for hardware, software, maintenance agreements, and license agreements and provide them to the Government.
- Perform Asset Management for all OBIM systems in accordance with the DHS program-level Asset Management guidelines.
- Record and maintain the asset inventory in the OBIM ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) CMDB.
- Establish and provide monthly feeds of IT asset information to OBIM Property Management in accordance with FAR Clause 45.
- Provide IT asset reports.
- Perform packaging, handling, shipping, receiving, and transportation of OBIM IT assets.
- Provide a monthly maintenance report to OBIM on the use of all hardware and software system maintenance agreements.
- Configure and maintain the ITSM Asset Management and CMDB modules within the OBIM ServiceNow ITSM systems tool suite.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 6-8 years’ experience or high school diploma/equivalent and minimum 12 years’ experience.
- 8+ years asset management and logistics experience ensuring alignment with business, operational and compliance requirements.
- 8+ years experience producing and delivering recurring asset report contract deliverables.
- 8+ years professional experience tracking and maintaining hardware and software maintenance agreements, warranties and license agreements.
- 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with all organizational levels and experience directly with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver presentations to all organizational levels (internal and external).
- ITIL IT Service Management certification
