Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Assistant Administrative Manager in Northern Worcester County.

The Leominster Counseling Center provides as integrated clinic that provides counseling, primary care, and specialized substance use disorder treatment. The Assistant Administrative Manager Assists the Administrative Manager in oversight of administrative operations in the Counseling Center and/or programs in the Clinic.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain professional office environment.
  • Supervise administrative support staff through regular staff meetings and individual supervision.
  • Provides support and leadership in the areas of patient registration; patient check in and check out; insurance eligibility and verification; receipt of payment and cash sheets; prior authorizations; specialty referrals; billing task; scheduling; running daily reports and other data entry tasks.
  • Ensure office supplies are fully stocked and review/approve supply orders.
  • Work with maintenance department and landlord on building issues (inside and out).
  • Coordinate administrative set up for all new hires.
  • Work with program managers to ensure timely access to services for consumers.
  • Act as liaison between patient and health care providers and external patient related providers Ensure that medication refill requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Process necessary paperwork for MD's and Clinicians as requested and/or directed.
  • Attend and participate in all trainings, meetings and supervisions as assigned.
  • Other duties as requested by clinical director.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Supervisory experience Preferred.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and use sound judgement.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
