Summary of Position
Keene State College is seeking applications for an Assistant Director of Transitions to guide the design, development, execution, and program assessment process to ensure the effectiveness of new student orientation and family programs for Keene State College. This is a full-time benefited position.

Other minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience in higher education, preferably in orientation, new student programs or student activities at a professional level, or a Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel or related field and a minimum of one year of relevant experience; public speaking and group facilitation experience; demonstrated ability to design, evaluate and implement targeted experience programs; knowledge of student development theory; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and effectively work on a team; ability to communicate effectively with others and foster professional relationships within a complex environment of students, staff, and faculty; the ability to effectively work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment; and the ability to work extended hours during peak program times.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Additional years of relevant experience; 1-2 years of experience supervising student staff members, 1-2 years of experience working with families of college students; ability to work with diverse student populations and their families to provide quality transitional experiences; knowledge of developmental issues of college students. Additionally, the College has identified desirable qualifications that support our commitment to creating and maintaining a diverse campus community, including the ability to speak a second language or to bring a multicultural perspective to the campus.
Salary Information
Salary is commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off. This position is part of the Keene State College Staff Association (KSCSA).
