Faculty Position in Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Gynecologic Surgery
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences is seeking a full time faculty member to complement our clinical program in our Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Division on our clinical scholar pathway. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained and subspecialty board eligible with an academic interest and productivity in either educational scholarship or clinical research and have excellent clinical skills in both office and surgical urogynecology.
The Urogynecology Division currently includes 2 full-time and 1 part-time physician providers as well as a part time physician’s assistant within a growing clinical practice. The current recruitment is a replacement position for an additional faculty member who is leaving our area. The practice includes a multidisciplinary clinic with dedicated nursing staff to support Urogynecology, Urology and colorectal surgery. On site pelvic floor physical therapy, urodynamics (including video), cystoscopy, Botox and Interstim evaluations and treatment are all available.
Academic rank, salary and benefits will be competitive and consistent with experience. Preference is for an individual at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor rank who is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a certificate of special expertise in Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Board eligible candidates will also be considered. The department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Vermont Medical Center has 6 divisions and over 40 clinical providers across all the major subspecialties of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
