We are looking to grow our property management team! We are looking to fill an Assistant Property Manager role with someone who has experience in the property management field, or another position with transferrable skills.

Please note that this position is not compatible with a remote or hybrid work arrangement. The candidate must be able to work in one of our office locations 5 days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Customer Service: Greeting and assisting customers/clients in the office, on the phone, and via email

- Answer tenant questions, maintenance requests, and receive rent payments

- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance technicians

- Communicate with local housing assistance providers

- Coordinate and prepare for unit turnovers

- Regular trips to properties for inspections and other tasks

- Various administrative tasks involving printing, scanning, mailing, filing, and preparing computer reports

- Enter and organize data in our management software (Rent Manager), spreadsheets, and manage and organize paper files. Google Workspace tools are mainly used, with some use of Word and Excel.

- Assist Property Manager(s) with daily tasks.

HOURS:

Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a half-hour daily lunch break. In addition, participation in an on-call rotation may be required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in the field of property management or other position with transferrable skills.

Willingness to be on the road making property visits on a regular basis as needed. A reliable personal vehicle is required for this (mileage will be tracked and reimbursed).

Comfortable on the phone, answering and making calls to tenants, cosigners, vendors, etc.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organization and task management skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
