Our independent Shop-Rite Supermarket chain is owned and operated by Inserra Supermarkets. Inc. which consists of approximately 22 stores throughout New Jersey and Rockland County, New York.

This position offers growth opportunities for those who have an interest building a career in the Supermarket Industry. Our candidate will start by working with our In Store Human Resource Team Member helping to achieve corporate hiring, training and retention objectives. This also includes building productive relationships with our Store Management Teams and Associates.

Responsibilities:

· Recruit and select interested candidates for available job opportunities.

· Conduct and coordinate first and second interviews.

· Complete and process new hire paperwork.

· Ensure all Computer Based Training is completed.

· Orientate, train and facilitate the 14, 30 and 50 day follow ups with new associates.

· Support all customer service initiatives as required.

Upon successful completion of our Human Resource assignment, we offer continued training and career advancement, with our comprehensive Store Management Training program, which leads to an Assistant Store Manager position.

Background Required:

· Exceptional communication skills.

· Must have strong organization skills.

· Computer skills are required and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

· College degree is required.

· Experience in a supermarket or retail chain is desirable.
