Position Summary
Position Summary:
The Youth Programs Assistant provides in-class support during the Kids & Teens on Campus summer program. This position must work effectively with children from 6 – 16 years of age in a diverse, multicultural educational setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are the functions essential to performing this job:
1. Assist classroom teacher and program staff as requested.
2. Ensure students, teachers, and staff adhere to all defined safety measures.
3. Supervise and accompany students in and out of the classroom as needed.
4. Assume responsibility for any students when necessary.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
