Roscoe's Bar & Burgers is opening in a renovated two-story building in midtown at the beginning of April. We'll be an LGBTQ-themed/owned bar-restaurant that will pay tribute to the artists and people of our community.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, and focused Sous Chef/Asst. Kitchen Manager with the energy it will take to open and grow a new, highly anticipated restaurant in midtown that's been years in the making. A renovated, full-service, full bar, 180-seat, two-story building, LGBTQ-themed/owned bar-restaurant that will pay tribute to the artists and people of our community serving a food menu of burgers, chicken sandwiches, big salads, appetizers, and shakes. This candidate must love to produce good-tasting and consistent food while dealing with the intense pressure a high-volume, face paced restaurant will demand. Your availability must include working well with your Chef, working nights, weekends, and all major holidays. Must have the talent to LEAD by example when stepping in for the Chef when he's not here by building and managing a team of hard-working, honest, and dedicated crew members committed to providing excellent food and service in a clean, fun, safe, and all-inclusive environment. Must work toward creating an environment where the BOH and FOH have a type of synergy that will only elevate our employee and guest experience.

You'll be responsible for assisting the Chef in the following areas, training, scheduling, and setting a standard of excellence, focusing on the quality of food, cleanliness, service, and sales by looking for ways to improve in any areas that need improvement. Achieving and maintaining our weekly labor and food cost goals.

Pay: $59,500.00 - $64,500.00 per year
