Wayne Akers Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Cashier. We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, friendly, confident, self-starters who are able to multi-task in a busy environment. If you are a passionate person with a love for people, customer service, and the ambition to excel in a professional environment, a position as an Automotive Service Cashier is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

• Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Maintain professional relationships with customers
• Collect all payments from Service and Parts customers
• Daily closing and reconciliations of Service RO’s and Parts tickets
• Responsible to count the cash draw and ensure it balances
• Handling of incoming and outgoing phone calls, text messages and emails
• Scheduling service appointments
• Prospect follow-up calls and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Automotive Service Department experience helpful but not required
• Team Player is a must

Qualifications:

• Must possess general computer skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• CDK experience a plus
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Job type: Full Time

Weekly day range:

• Monday – Friday
• Saturday availability
