Description of role:

We have an amazing team! Our busy restaurant is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking experienced Line Cook who cares about food and presentation. The ideal candidate for this position will have line experience and willing to work as part of the team. Line Cook will be responsible for prepping, plating and partnering with the Executive Chef.

Tasks:

• Ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
• Delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking and expediting
• Kitchen Organization
• Keep up with industry trends and create new recipes in collaboration with the Executive Chef/Owner

Skills and Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
• 2+ years' experience in a full-service restaurant
• Excellent communication and organization skills/Spanish helpful
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dedicated to food quality and presentation
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards

Work Schedule:

Tuesday -Sunday Weekend/Holidays a MUST

We open for lunch at 11:30 and kitchen closes at 9pm. midweek and 10pm weekend.

We are NOT a late night house.

Salary:

Based on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

• Night shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
