UABL is looking for compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals to join our team. No previous ABA experience is required, but a passion for working with children with special needs is a must! As a BT/RBT you will have the opportunity to support children and be a key contributor to their progress in obtaining valuable social, communication, and daily living skills. We will provide training in Applied Behavioral Analysis and ensure that you have the support that you need to be successful.

About Us:

UABL is a young company that was recently founded by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our goal is to assist each child in reaching their full potential by implementing the evidenced-based principles and practices ABA. We offer effective and intensive one-on-one therapy to children who have been diagnosed with Autism, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders.

Role:

The BT/RBT will provide individualized treatment to children, ages 2 to 14, who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or various other developmental disabilities. Treatment will be based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. BT/RBTs will implement learning programs designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), under the direct supervision of the BCBA. In addition, BTs/RBTs are also responsible for collecting data on target behaviors, incorporating parent collaboration into sessions, and meeting with supervisors regularly.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing individualized treatment plans as written and directed by the BCBA with children ages 2 to 14.
• Implementing behavior intervention programming.
• Collecting data to monitor the progress.
• Attending scheduled trainings and team meetings.
• Providing documentation on client progress including, but not limited to, detailed clinical notes for each session.
• Communicating clearly and effectively, both orally and written, with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Reliably maintaining professional decorum with members of the team and the client’s family.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the UABL clinical team.
• Uphold best practices, and the mission of UABL as outlined in the staff handbook.

Required from all candidates:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience working with children
• Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population of children and families.
• Have the ability to remain calm and neutral in challenging situations with clients.
• Have reliable means of transportation, a valid driver's license, and insurance.
• Have the ability to stand and stay on their feet for prolonged periods of time and bend, kneel, crouch, and lift weight of up to 50 pounds.
• CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to complete training requirements in he first month of employment.
• Have successful background check, clean driving record, and verified reference checks.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous ABA therapy experience.
• Previous experience working with children with special needs.

Compensation:

• Pay rate of $21-25 per hour based on experience, level of education, and other certifications.
