The bike shop at A.J's Ski and Sports is fully stocked with new bikes and we are growing and expanding our team of bike experts. If you have a passion for riding bikes this would be a great position for you.

We are hiring a full time bike mechanic to join our team of fun and outdoor oriented employees. Our family friendly shop is run is run by employees that work as a team to help one another and the shop thrive. Our bike mechanics work in a open air customer facing setting that requires both excellent repair skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to talk to customers to help guide them through the repair process. Our goal is making it simple and easy for customers to understand and getting their bike fixed and rolling again. We service and work on a wide range of bike types and brands. Our shop is located with direct trail access to some of the best mountain bike trails in Vermont all employees are encouraged to get out and ride and live a healthy outdoor lifestyle.

This position requires applicant to have previously worked as a bike mechanic in a retail bike shop setting or mobile mechanic setting. Applicant must have a firm grasp of all bike related repairs and adjustments including brake bleeds, derailleur adjustments, wheel truing, dropper post installations/adjustments and some experience with electronic shifting. Our shop services and sells everything from mountain to gravel and road bikes.
