As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions we are expanding our staff and seeking Billing Specialist to join the FSG - Dallas team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Billing Specialist you will undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee revenues. You will handle the processing of income payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork. The ideal candidate will be working towards a career in the trade with Facility Solutions Group.

A Billing Specialist will:

• Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility
• Manage the status of accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
• Consistently and accurately enter itemized labor and material billing lines according to the service contract
• Issue and post bills, receipts and invoices
• Check the validity of debit accounts
• Audit work orders for profitability and completion of work performed
• Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
• Ensure all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
• Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
• Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
• Properly manage all assigned customers. Maintain good working relationships wit customers and vendors
• Escalate possible issues to Billing Team Lead

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years in Billing or Accounting roles
• MUST be able to pass a background screen
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to multitask while staying organized
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Positive customer service skills
• Experience in lighting is a plus!
