SEK CPAs & Advisors has an opportunity for a full time Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist in our Carlisle office. This position is responsible for working closely with a variety of clients to provide full-service accounting support including bookkeeping and general ledger preparation, preparation of payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly returns, financial statements, 1099s and W-2 processing.

Please note, this is not a remote position, however hybrid work schedules may be available.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with clients to promote a quality of service image.
• Accounting experience preferably in a public accounting environment.
• Experience reconciling bank accounts and maintaining a general ledger.
• Experience preparing payroll, payroll taxes, quarterly returns and W-2s.
• Proficiency with Excel required.
• Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information and to demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
• Detail orientation with strong organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills.
