Our Boise Business Development Director identifies and develops professional relationships with target clients to raise awareness in the Boise marketplace of STRATA s services, experience, and value to projects. Assists Business Manager or Project Managers in providing client or project-specific marketing documents. Facilitate and attend meetings with target clients to build professional relationships, to understand their organization's wants and needs and learn of upcoming teaming opportunities. Educates key staff on approaches for improving business development efforts. Ownership for developing and updating business development plans for selected target markets. Engage with and promote positive interactions with professional and civic organizations in the Boise/Western Idaho area.

Major Responsibilities include:

• Through internal collaboration, develop a list of targeted clients and projects to proactively pursue within the metropolitan area of Boise.
• Organize systems and procedures for the Boise office relative to business development strategies, initiatives, activities, and education.
• Identify target clients in each market and develop visitation plans.
• As necessary, participate in client negotiations to seamlessly bridge communications.
• Position with owners and teaming partners to win targeted projects.
• Participate in local Boise Committees or Boards with at least two (2) professional or civic organizations.
• Establish annual business development/marketing budget for the Boise office.
• Develop promotional presentations/collateral/templates for delivery to Boise area clients.
• Co-author marketing literature (brochures, surveys, etc.) to augment STRATA s presence in the Boise market.
• Assist Business Manager with developing analytics to gather data (rankings, usage, research, etc.)
• Adhere to STRATA s policies, travel as necessary, and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete other duties or projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in building trusting, collaborative, and effective relationships with clients, leaders, and co-workers. Will confidentially and professionally approach clients with knowledge about STRATA's current business model, capabilities, and long-term objectives. Also requires extraordinary communication skills-verbally, orally, and in written form displaying creative and conceptual thinking.

The ideal candidate will know Microsoft Office Suite and other software products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, InDesign, Publisher/other desktop publishing, developing and/or utilizing a CRM database). Also requires a willingness to uphold and advocate for STRATA s Core Values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork Professionalism, Accountability, and Respect. High school diploma and/or Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant field is a strong advantage.
