We are currently seeking a Remote Cabinet Designer for our cabinetry division, Allied Interior Solutions. Candidates must live in either Texas or Oklahoma for payroll purposes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design kitchen/bathroom cabinets from blueprints and/or actual measurements
  • Preparing sketches of ideas, detailed drawings, using 2020 and/or Pro-Kitchen design and/or working with interior designers to do the same.
  • Communicating with clients to determine factors affecting planning interiors, such as budgets, architectural preferences, purpose, space planning and function.
  • Provide estimations (take offs) for our clients.
  • Prepare order for cabinets and follow through to assure everything is in good order.
  • Project Managements: working closely with client, keeping them informed of the progress of the job.
  • Coordinate the kitchen/bathroom sales from the design stage to the install stage.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Three years cabinet design
  • Knowledgeable in design software with preferred exposure or experience in 2020/Pro-Kitchen/AutoCAD/Revit/Bluebeam
  • Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings
  • Experience working with home builders in cabinet design, a plus
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledgeable of installation process of cabinets
  • Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Excel). And Adobe software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Experience with design factors including space planning, layout and use of appliances and color coordination
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects
