The ideal Food & Beverage Café Attendant for Convene is a customer service focused individual with the ability to create a positive, memorable, experience for our customers. The Café Attendant will be responsible for educating customers and serving our premium Food & Beverage offerings. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

This role is full time and a seasonal opportunity throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall months. Hours are generally 10:30am-6:30pm CT Monday-Friday with scheduling that may vary slightly. Position pays $18/hr plus tips!

What You’ll Do:

● Greet all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service and develop a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items
● Verbally receive and call back customer orders in a friendly manner
● Report all customer complaints to the manager on duty
● Full knowledge of coffee and food menu is required
● Accurately ring sales orders into the Point of Sale system and complete each transaction efficiently
● Answer customer questions regarding menu item preparation and ingredients
● Sell and serve baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers
● Display and restock all food items for customers to purchase
● Maintain efficient, friendly service
● Restock paper goods and other miscellaneous service items as needed
● Routinely clean the airstream and terrace area, floor, windows, and take out trash, etc.
● Deliver food orders to coinciding customers while maintaining service standards
● Work closely with the Culinary team to ensure food orders are being delivered in a timely manner
● Perform other related duties as required
● Assist in the distribution of weekly shipments
● Responsible for bussing, maintaining and cleaning common areas
● Report potential safety hazards to the manager on duty
● Report all employee accidents to the manager on duty
● Inform the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies

● Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds
● Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects
